Velvet Film and More

This piece is the start of my most latest project digging deep into the minds of filmmakers, actors, etc, to give new aspects and advice on the independent and manic industry of film. To start off this project I have had some wonderful support and commitment from fellow film lovers and makers and have been able to put these pieces together, starting with this puzzle piece. I recently got published in Gorilla Film Magazine with a review I did on the short film Darjeeling. Darjeeling is a short film created by Posh Dinosaur Productions, starring the company director of Posh Dinosaur; Michael James Dean and I have had the privilege of interviewing him about his projects, his goals, his tips and his life.   Michael James Dean is an actor/writer and more, working hard, on and off camera, as well as on stage. I have chosen Michael as my first piece because of the success and beautiful work that is Darjeeling as well as the passion you grasp through his portrayals....

Michael James Dean (Posh Dinosaur Productions, Darjeeling ) has completed his interview with me and it is very inspiring! Keep an eye out of the completed piece and the full interview where Michael tells us about his journey, his inspirations and his passion. This interview gives great advice to actors, writers and filmmakers, not to mention general film fans! While I finish this piece for you guys go and check out Posh Dinosaur Productions YouTube page: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCwR_rSP7ecAp3s80HhnICGA?feature=c4-feed-lik

Cast: Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Martin Freeman, Paddy Considine, Eddie Marsan, Rosamund Pike. Directed By: Edgar Wright. Written By: Edgar Wright & Simon Pegg.   The World’s End (2013) is a British Sci-Fi Comedy, which is part of the ‘ Cornetto Trilogy’ by the comedic geniuses that are Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright . The World’s End follows a group of old school friends that reunite to go back to their home town and complete the Golden Mile, which is a pub crawl in which you have a single pint in a total of 12 pubs, concluding at The World’s End. You’ve seen Shaun of the Dead (2004), you’ve laughed at Hot Fuzz (2007) but you haven’t seen it all till you’ve been to The World’s End . This movie has everything you expect from marvels such as Simon Pegg and Nick Frost with more twists, turns and humour than you can imagine. This movie has a subtle clever-ness to it that I find truly brilliant. The comedic and British mix that this movie contains, takes us bac...

Gorilla Magazine gave me the chance to review a short film for them called Darjeeling by Posh Dinosaur Productions! The edited it slightly, just certain words that described the rest of my sentence in one rather than ranting, coz you guys know what I'm like I write kind of abstract and in tangents, but it's still my words and still my work! So happy!
