Grave Encounters 2 (2012) Cast: Richard Harmon, Leanne Lapp, Dylan Playfair, Sean Rogerson . Written By: The Vicious Brothers. Directed By: J ohn Poliquin. The sequel to the controversial horror movie Grave Encounters (2011) , where internet film reviewer/student Alex (Harmon) , begins to get weird emails of clips and hints about the first movie that cause him to start researching into the realism of the of movie. Alex' research takes him and his friends to the location of the first movie; a sinister mental institution in Vancouver. Like the first movie, innocent filming turns into a fight for survival, a fight for sanity against the paranormal and unknown. Now a lot of this movie is shown in Alex and Trevor's (Playfair) 'halls' and them partying, this gives it a more realistic taste to it, especially with the story having the young characters researching the story rather than them being those cliché teens that go into the hospital because they think it'll ...

Dorian Gray (2009) Cast: Ben Barnes, Colin Firth, Rebecca Hall, Ben Chaplin . Based On: 'The Picture Of Dorian Gray' By Oscar Wilde (1890). Screenplay By: Toby Finlay . Directed By: Oliver Parker . Dorian Gray is a British fantasy thriller based on the well known novel 'The Picture Of Dorian Gray' written by Oscar Wilde . Dorian Gray  (Ben Barnes)  is a handsome, wealthy man who arrives in Victorian London to live in the mansion he inherits from his Grandfather and like most old wealthy Victorian civilians he has his portrait painted to be mounted in the main room of the house. This portrait portrays him beautiful and young which he does not want to change and without realising he sells his soul to his portrait. He never scars, never ages, never dies, any pain or such that he inflicts on his body comes up on his portrait rather than himself, his portrait ages while he doesn't. Dorian Gray shows the highest to lowest points of a beautiful, ironic immortality...

My Top 3 Writer/Director Inspirations!   Being an aspiring screenwriter and filmmaker, I get my inspiration and ideas for methods for most movies and writers, however there are three that I have admired and learned over the past few years of writing and watching movies. Now I have done this piece to talk about, but mainly their work and I hope some of their passionate movies are ones you go to watch after reading this.     1. Quentin Tarantino:   Tarantino is a name I do not need to go into much detail with as he is such a legend in himself, even if you haven't seen one of his movies you still know his name. I find he has a very brutal way of writing and filming, very brutal but realistic, the slight comedy within his films I feel tricks the audience into not realising what they are watching is reality, a reality he has made up but a reality all the same. Tarantino has a bloody abstract-ness to his movies which makes them unique, shows his genius ...

Carrie Remake: Killing Carrie? Carrie is a classic and cult horror movie that has such an amazing reputation and is a great classic. It is about a young girl in high school, who is bullied by others at her school who laugh at her and throw things at her in the showers when she starts her period and freaks out a little-this causes the girls to get banned from prom. Not to mention her borderline insane Christian mother who sometimes locks her in a cupboard as her mother believes that things such as puberty are signs of evil. One of the girls involved in the shower incident takes pity on Carrie and gets her boyfriend, the most popular boy in school, to ask her to prom, however others don't take getting banned from prom so lightly. Carrie, even though with warning from her mother, goes to prom with him, looking so beautiful even he finally she's her an appears to like what he see's, with both of them stunning and gleaming they win prom king and queen. Carrie seems genuinely h...
