Monologue Shoot.

I did some filming, quite a while ago, for a monologue I did based on a woman from the darker past times who loved the attention of men. However she gets to the point where the lipstick smudges and one night stands begins to drive her slightly insane. I used lipstick to first create a heart on her lips and then her body to start with the concept of innocent, fun love and then moved on to her crossing out her hearts and using the lipstick to show the thought of suicide, the lip tick drawing a line over her throat to pursue the idea of what makes her, will kill her.
 
All these shots are unedited at the moment, so currently the background is not right for this piece, however I love the look of the character unedited right now.
 
 
 
 
 
These images are also in an order of the levels of struggle the character reaches, there are loads of stills and screenshots, but I picked to share these ones as they are my top favourite and show the concept quite simply.

Saving The Outsiders House: Danny O'Connor.

Moviepilot.com/Warner Bros. The Outsiders is an american drama movie adaptation of  S. E. Hinton's book with the same title. It was realised in 1983 and had a cast of many familiar faces before they were as familiar and famous as they are today; Matt Dillon, Tom Cruise, Rob Lowe, Patrick Swayze and pre-Karate Kid Ralph Macchio, with C. Thomas Howell as the lead. The film tackled themes of class, brotherhood and murder and caught it all in a gritty, honest and beautiful bubble. Simply unforgettable. This cult classic was directed by one of the greats Francis Ford Coppola whose name stands against the ever lasting titles of The Godfather, Apocalypse Now and one of my favourites, Bram Stoker's Dracula. With all these fantastic names behind it, from my point of view, I'm surprised it's as cult and underrated as it is. A Love Letter to Call Me By Your Name.

Call Me By Your Name is a coming-of-age drama, adapted from Andre Aciman’s 2007 novel of the same name. The story, set in 1980’s Italy, follows 17 year old Elio and the love that blossoms between him and an older grad student staying with him and his family for the summer, named Oliver. This gem that is taking the festival circuit, and soon the cinema, by storm is directed by Luca Guadagnino, who we know for films such as A Bigger Splash and I Am Love and with Armie Hammer and breakthrough actor, Timothee Chalamet as the forefront of this movie, who can truly have any doubts before watching?!?!
