Life; DeHaan is Dean.

There have been many documentaries and movie adaptions of the life of the talented and widely remembered man that is James Dean, with the legends shoes being worn by many, including James Franco in the 2001 film James Dean. Now, we can expect to see the idol again, this time being portrayed by Dane DeHaan, best known for roles in Chronicle, Kill Your Darlings and The Amazing Spider-man 2.

This year Life is going to be released with Robert Pattinson walking alongside DeHaan; this film has already been quoted to be a masterpiece of film making and I can only hope that the cinematography of this movie is going to be as beautiful and unforgettable as Dean himself, as the premise of the film is about a photographer from Life magazine taking images of Dean through his days.

Now I can easily sat that I don't really have any doubts about this movie, and that's not just because I am a fan of Dane; I should be worried that yet again they are trying to portray someone who can never be replicated  but it is the fact that this is an Anton Corbijn film that has me completely relaxed at the attempt. Anton Corbijn is known for many things including his music videos for classic bands such as U2 and Depeche Mode, but he is also widely known for his great and raw photography. However, it is his film Control about the life of  Joy Division front man Ian Curtis that has me titled a fan; the whole film was done in black and white and expressed great sadness as the story followed  a well known man of music into suicide.

With little detail as yet, at least we know we can expect great acting from many sides, but in the unlikely event that we are let down, at least we can rest well knowing that visually the film will be truthful and stunning.
