Many A Star Wars Story!

Since I am still jumping up and down in pure excitement at the Solo: A Star Wars Story teaser release, I thought this next piece would be super fun to do!

In the past year or so we have seen a rise in YA authors bringing out books on characters in the Marvel and DC Universe and they are definitely getting some huge review, with fans loving books like Warbringer by Leigh Bardugo, a Wonder Woman novel and more. BUT, there are a large collection of Star Wars novels from even more loved authors, so I thought to myself ; WE NEED A LIST!

So to fill that millennium falcon sized space inside you that's looking to be stuffed with Star Wars geek-ness and goodness; here's some books available now to help pass the time till the Solo release!

Claudia Gray
Claudia Gray is an author, best known in the YA/Book community for the Firebird Trilogy; A Thousand Pieces of You, Ten Thousand Skies Above You and A Million Worlds With You. Claudia has written a few Star Wars books and these are:

Alexandra Bracken:
Alexandra Bracken is a massive name within the YA Sci-Fi community, best known for her Darkest Minds Trilogy, Passenger Duology and her recent release The Dreadful Tale of Prosper Reading! I am yet to read this Star Wars book but when I found out about it in my research I had like a mixture of book and film fangirling which was....weird...! Alexandra's Stars Wars book contribution is this:

Elizabeth Wein:
Elizabeth Wein is known well for her books, but the most common I see around are Code Name Verity and Rose Under Fire, which are stories set in World War 2 with predominantly female characters. Elizabeth's Star Wars book is fairly new, published with characters from The Last Jedi in 2017:

E. K. Johnston:
E. K. Johnston recently gave us That Inevitable Victorian Thing and before that gave us A Thousand Nights and Spindle, fans were granted even MORE, with this next Star Wars novel:

Beth Revis:
Beth obviously gave us the Across The Universe trilogy and showed us she had a head for YA science fiction and we were graced with not only a Rogue One based book but she was also part of a graphic novel series:

๐ŸŒ“Honourable Mentions!๐ŸŒ—

I just also wanted to put a couple down here that I think are worthy mentioning and making you aware that they exist and they are:

Phantom Menace Novelisation by Shannara author Terry Brooks.
Star Wars: From A Certain Point Of View with stories by YA authors such as Pierce Brown, Sabaa Tahir and stars like Wil Wheaton!

So here is a bunch of new Star Wars novels for you to go and check out by some of the most loved and popular authors in the book community, if you're anything like me it's made you both happy that they exist and sad that you can't buy them all immediately!

ALSO, if you haven't already or so again, go and check out the new trailer for Solo: A Star Wars Story!
